Mackie Productions is pleased to announce that the screenplay for Circus Faces has been cleared for a production to move forward in 2023/2024.
Circus Faces Logline: An unassuming store owner with a dark past discovers a chest with a diary and art from an early 20th century circus that leads him on a path of self-discovery and an unlikely spiritual bond with an autistic boy.
JEFF PERLMAN – Executive Producer
Jeff Perlman is the Executive VP of Business Development for CDS International Holdings and former mayor of Delray Beach, FL. Jeff is a political activist, serial entrepreneur, writer, and philanthropist. As a VP with CDS he has overseen numerous commercial media projects, for Tabanero Hot Sauce, Celsius beverages, and others. Jeff played a key role in the development of the immersive media experience, Delray Interactive Movie, and supported many other creative projects in art, music, and film. He spent more than a decade as an award-winning journalist specializing in municipal government, crime, business, and education.
Perlman founded his own publishing company that was acquired by BRN Media Group, where he served as an Executive VP. Jeff is the author of “Adventures in Local Politics” and is currently developing two additional book projects.
JADE LORAIN – Executive Producer
Jade Lorain has had a life long passion for the arts, inspired by her Father, the late, Glenn Goss. Glenn was a gold record songwriter, singer, and recording artist. The genesis of Circus Faces, co-written by Glenn Goss and Kathryn Mackie and BIll Mackie, sprung from Jade and Glenn’s shared love for the magic of Cirque du Soleil. Jade’s educational background in communications and media studies, and her emotional connection to the material, will make her a tremendous asset to the production.
