For Immediate Release:

Actor Steven Bauer (Scarface, Traffic, Ray Donovan, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) has been attached as Producer to Circus Faces, a property in development with Mackie Productions. In addition, Bauer is slated to take the lead role of “Jerry” in the feature.

Bauer, internationally acclaimed for his roles in iconic film and Television, and fresh off shooting Beautiful Wedding with director Roger Kumble (Cruel Intentions), says this story is something special.

“Circus Faces is a project that’s personal for me, as my dear friend and musical collaborator, the late-great Glenn Goss, was the co-writer of this screenplay. Glenn always hoped I would take on the role of ‘Jerry’ in this beautiful story, and I look forward to playing this conflicted and complex character.”

With nearly 200 screen credits, Bauer has been looking to expand his role as a producer and looks forward to developing this property. Bauer has also been busy recording in Nashville. “Music has always been a passion for me” stated Bauer, “and the fact that Circus Faces includes songs from my dear friend and music collaborator makes this meaningful on many levels.”

Cirque du Soleil’s Renowned Composer Roger Hewett:

Enhancing the musical emphasis of Circus Faces is the addition of noted Cirque du Soleil band leader and composer, Roger Hewett, of Cirque’s beloved production, “Corteo.” Roger has been the band leader for Corteo since 2005. In addition Roger Hewett has numerous film credits for musical composition (Double Jeopardy, The Art of War, The Greatest Game Ever Played). Steven Bauer called the attachment of Roger Hewett, “A significant addition.” Roger is a talented composer who connects with the Circus Faces story on many levels.

The attachments of Steven Bauer and composer Roger Hewett are great foundations to the Circus Faces film project.
